So, after much work, repairs on my journal for my Lost character are finally nearing completion. I should have pictures up soon of the modifications/repairs to it for ya'll to enjoy.
In retrospect, I should designed the front cover differently. Though my idea of placing the medallion inside the cover was great - I failed to take into consideration designing the necessary structural rigidity to hold it in place. Couple that design flaw with high heat and humidity (after all, it is a Chicago summer) - the medallion failed to remain in place.
I have added a piece of 120# cold-pressed watercolour paper and a cut sheet of 18ga galvanized stee
